Benoit Piette is a Solution Architect working in Digital platforms since the middle of the 90s.

Benoit gained experience while using both his technical and human skills in challenges involving leadership and technological vision. His great versatility makes it possible to gain advantages in very different contexts, from large enterprises to startups with Web marketing firms in between; from small maintenance projects to big e-commerce replatforming. He likes making links where none are seen, especially between marketing and IT.

Benoit has a very pedagogical methodology which help build Web & mobile technological strategies and reach business objectives.

He was the Web architect for the metro.ca digital platform (most used grocery Web site in Canada in 2014-2015) and multiple projects from Via Rail, ACQ, AMT, CAE, Wizard of the Coast, National Bank and AIMIA / Aeroplan.

He has a strong development background, and worked as a Java and C# developer in Web and SOA contexts in projects for ACCEO, SAQ, Loto-Québec and Desjardins.

Benoit is very present in the Montreal Web community. He organizes the HTML5Mtl meetups and gives conferences on very different subjects ranging from accessibility to Web security.

He is now President of Résoeuvra, which offers consulting services on digital architecture, strategy and development.
