Beat has been using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (aka GP) since version 7.5 back in 2003. He learned up the ins & outs of the system, mainly by creating reports and Excel queries linked to the back-end of the GP system.

In 2009 he joined a world-class company to be their principal Dynamics GP ERP system administrator and in 2011 became a full-time member of the GPUG organisation that helps GP users to find answers to their problems by connecting the members together in communities and gatherings.

In 2013 Beat has been recognized by its GPUG peers as one of the few GPUG All Stars for his contribution to the Dynamics GP community.

In April 2015 Beat was awarded the prestigious Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) title in recognition by his peers about his contribution and engagement in the Dynamics GP community.

In 2016, 2017 & 2018, Beat was honoured with the Saphire, Ruby and Emerald Awards from the Dynamic Communities board for his contributions to the GP user community.
